Chalet Coriandre is a majestic 1920's, 4 bedroom (which could easily be increased to 5 or 6 bedrooms) house on four floors. The walls are made of half metre thick rough hewn granite blocks with a pitched roof made of tile topped wood (which was renewed in the 1980's). Unusually for the area the house comes with substantial land, partially privately owned, with the remainder being part of a co-proprietare. Keen gardeners will find plenty of opportunity for growing everything from trees to vegetables and flowers in the summer months.

Located in the small hamlet of La Raie in the commune of Sainte Foy Tarentaise, the chalet provides easy access to five world class resorts: Ste Foy, Val d'Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs and La Rosiere. All of these resorts are between 5 and 15minutes drive away. Slightly further afield is La Plagne. We believe this offers the largest and most varied skiing and snowbaording area in the world.

The chalet faces the Park de Vanoise which is a protected nature reserve. With a private water supply which is of spring quality the chalet is elevated up behind the road leading to Val d'Isere and Tignes heading East, and Sainte Foy Les Arcs and La Rosiere heading West.

The Chalet is made up as follows:
Ground floor: Utility room, wine cave, ski and boot room, large hallway with coat racks and cupboards, garage. NB. The utility room on the ground floor could be turned into another bedroom or games room, or be converted into a separate flat in conjunction with the outhouse.

1st Floor: Living room with log burning fire and computer/games area, dining room with views out across the valley, kitchen/breakfast room, toilet and hallway leading to stairs.

2nd Floor: - Bedroom 1 with one double bed and ensuite shower room and toilet, Bedroom 2 with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, Bedroom 3 with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, separate shower room and separate toilet.

The chalet has a completely new central heating system and newly refurbished bathrooms, with pipework laid to make one more additional bathroom for bedroom 3 which currently shares a bathroom with bedroom 2.

Being keen skiers, the current owners have enjoyed the house for over 20 years, but are now ready to downsize.
